Clinical Investigation Centre of Lisbon's Academic Medical Centre - CIC-CAML is a Clinical Research Center which aims to centralize all the clinical research management and activities in a recent infrastructure dedicated exclusively to the development and support of clinical trials.
As a Clinical Research Center (CRC), CIC-CAML has dedicated facilities to perform clinical research according to ICH-GCP Guidelines providing to the clinical investigators the necessary infrastructure and services for the support and conduct of high quality clinical trials, from Phase I to IV. CIC-CAML as an infrastructure devoted to centralize clinical research support with a management team including study coordinators and study-nurse staff, allowing enrolment of patients.
At the moment we are involved in more than 180 clinical trials (3 are phase I) and had more than 150 patients included in clinical trials in different therapeutic areas such as: Oncology, Rheumatology, Neurology and Pediatrics. We also conduct observational studies and some of these projects are investigator-initiated studies.
